Plymouth Public Library Celebrates Our Nation’s Defenders!

Happy Memorial Day, patrons! The Plymouth Public Library Staff wishes to express its profound respect for the troops who have sacrificed their lives defending their beloved nation. In honor of our fallen soldiers, please be advised that the library will be closed on Monday, May 25, 2015.

On May 21, 2015, the Plymouth Public Library also hosted a special event as a commemoration of the Civil War 150th Anniversary. Jay Smar gathered the community to embark on a musical and whimsical journey into the heritage of NEPA coal miners during this historical era. Patrons of all ages had a blast sharing folklore, singing coal mining songs, and enjoying Jay’s musical talents.
